Spring 2025 California Wildflower Moments

Every spring, for a few short weeks, Northern California’s immense plant biodiversity provides a pageant of colors, forms, and often intoxicating perfumes. While few places outmatch tropical forests for me as a photographic destination, the Mayacamas, Berryessa-Snow Mountain Monument and Table Mountain are some of my favorite areas to be lost “among the wildflowers.”
